Rachel Beard - Senior Producer / Facilities Manager
A South Seas '95er, Rachel has been in the post production realm since 2004. Prior to that she was freelance in the film industry in the camera department working on numerous features, tv productions & tvcs.
She brings a wealth of knowledge from both sides of the industry. She is very keen on cameras (she took all these head shots), flowers, and coffee.
Lynelle Smith - Studio Coordinator
In 2009 Lynelle move to Auckland to study Studio Television at AUT, and in 2011 emerged with a Bachelor of Communications. She’s worked production-side with two of Auckland’s top production companies, Screentime and Imagination TV, on shows such as Police Ten 7 and two seasons of New Zealand’s Got Talent.
In 2014 Lynelle came on board as our Studio Co-ordinator, and we are very happy she did. Not only is she incredibly organised, smart and pro-active, she’s also 1 x barrel of laughs and great source of excellent celebrity updates.
Nadeeka Acri - Accounts
Nadeeka finished her degree in accounting and HR in 2004, and followed her then-boyfriend, now-husband, to Italy where she lived in La Spezia for six years teaching English and learning Italian, how to cook, and how to yell at a football game.
In 2011, she and her husband, along with their young daughter, moved back to Auckland. Nadeeka returned to study, and gained her Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting.
Nadeeka’s hubby on the other hand became an award winning Pizza Maker in his New Lynn shop, Settebello Pizza!
Head of Sound
Vedat Kiyici - Head of Sound
This is Vedat's first gig in New Zealand, dating back to 2004. Since then, he has carved his place in the industry having worked on award-winning TV/Radio Commercials, prime-time TV Shows, and Films.
Born and bred in Istanbul, he lived in NYC about 9 years, studied sound at Institute of Audio Research ('98), and Video and Multimedia production at CUNY ('03), played in bands, and recorded & mixed music.
His vast technical knowledge, keen eyes and ears for story telling, and superb time management skills will help you finish your project the most efficient way possible (our accountant doesn't like it).
Always looking for better ways to do things, he actually invented audio software plugins and apps that are being used in studios world wide!
Jason Fox - Senior Engineer
Jason took a working holiday to London for 10 years, where he met his wife, became fluent in French, and studied audio engineering at SAE. He then gained a position as an audio engineer at the internationally renowned Zoo Studios in Soho, London.
In ’03, Jason came back to NZ and settled in for six years at Images and Sound. There, he worked on commercials, corporate, docos, reality and drama.
In 2011, we were lucky enough to lure him across to become part of the team at Envy Studios.
In his spare time (besides caring for baby Scarlett) Jason works on automating his entire house, as well as teaching himself how to write apps. He is still searching for that idea that will reward him with an early retirement.
